The Louisiana Council of ESA International (Epsilon Sigma Alpha) is a leadership and service organization empowering it's members with the skills and resources needed to lead and serve their communities. Louisiana members have worked thousands of service hours and raised money for charitable causes such as St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Easter Seals. As of July 2008, Louisiana chapters have raised over $16,000,000 for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Through a network of over 1100 chapters in the U.S. and abroad, an ESA member has the opportunity to form life-long friendships and share the power to make a difference. That difference is felt close to home and in far-reaching ways be membership participation in community service and major philanthropic projects. To help members become their personal best, ESA provides leadership training, scholarships, educational programs, and the challenge to develop individual strengths. Opportunities to chair events, hold officer roles, and handle special projects provide members with important hands-on experience.
